I’m having a series of issues with connecting my Moku:Lab device to my computer via usb. Originally, it seemed to be driver issues, which seemed to resolve the issue up until updating the firmware on the device.
My problem now, is that neither the windows app nor the iPad app (which was working previously) is finding the device. I will note that the wifi access point is found and connecting via the iPad, and that the device manager on my pc is showing “Network Adapters > Mokulab”. Trying to manually connect to my device via the app gives a “couldn’t find device at specified address” error, using the IP address given by the usb IP finder Moku:Lab USB IP Finder - Liquid Instruments and the serial number 011-001200-4. Something of note is that after installing the firmware, the wifi password wasn’t being accepted at first, but turning the moku off and on again seems to have fixed that part.
I just tried performing a soft and hard reset based on this information: Factory Resetting Moku:Lab - Liquid Instruments. The soft reset didn’t work so I moved on to the hard reset, but the moku isn’t reaching the final stage of the process, where the light flashes blue/orange and you release the reset button. It cuts off just before that (maybe 25 seconds into the second orange phase) and then restarts the process. I went through 3 cycles of this, orange to white/orange to orange to off, holding down the reset button non-stop, before I gave up.
