Hi,

I would be interested in a feature in the waveform generator instrument that allows stepping through a predefined list of output frequencies, amplitudes, waveforms, etc. in response to an external trigger. Is anything like this possible or planned?

Hi @wtobias Will,

Unfortunately, we don’t have this feature at the moment. One possible approach is using Arbitrary Waveform Generator to output a series of voltage steps, then the Waveform Generator can be configured as Frequency Modulation or Amplitude Modulation.

You can set the Arbitrary Waveform Generator to Burst modulation, so the Waveform Generator signal will change according to the output voltage from the Arbitrary Waveform Generator.
