Waveform generator - delay when turning on/off output

Hi,
I noticed that there is a delay of about 0.5-1 second when turning off/on the output of the waveform generator via the Matlab API. I have used both generate_waveform(’ type’, Off), as well as enable_output with the arbitrary waveform generator. Is there any way to switch off an output with a lower delay (order of ms)?

The application I have in mind is a conditional trigger, where the waveform generator generates a pulse train that stops as soon as an input signal stays at a certain level, measured by the oscilloscope.

Hello Stephan, we are aware of this issue and are currently working on a fix for it. Be on the lookout for a software and firmware update in the coming weeks!
