I took some data with the frequency response analyzer using the iPad app. I saved this data and selected the ‘save settings’ option. I notice that the settings text file contains exactly the same information as the header of the data csv file. Importantly, it is missing the measurement mode (e.g. In/In 1).
It would be nice if this information was saved in the csv file.
I don’t see much use for the ‘save settings’ option, since I’d like to see as much info as possible in the csv file. It is very easy to ignore all the comments if you’d like, and additional settings are very often necessary to interpret old data.
You are right that the settings in the settings and the traces are the same, this is more so when you might want to save or share your settings only this is easily available to users.
I’m interested, are you saying that when you are measuring In/In1 that the App is not exporting the In/In1 measurement, or that you’d like to be able to export multiple measurements at the same time?
I would like for the header to include an indication of which measurement is being taken. As far as I can tell, if someone sends me a csv file from the frequency response analyzer, there is no way for me to find out which measurement mode the data was taken in from the file alone.
